Sunset Beach is a wide, uncrowded stretch of white sand with the postcard view of Table Mountain across the bay. Walk straight out from the pool deck — no road to cross.
The bay is one of Cape Town’s best-known kite and windsurfing spots. Some guests launch directly from the beach in front of the hotel.
About 20 minutes by car to the cableway, and the mountain is in view from most of our rooms and the terrace.
Roughly 15 minutes away — restaurants, the aquarium, and the departure point for Robben Island ferries.
Visible from the shoreline on a clear day. Ferries leave from the V&A Waterfront and should be booked ahead.
